Be Part of the Change

Recovery is a community effort. Volunteers are at the heart of BCRC. We believe every person can make a difference by lending a hand, sharing skills, or simply showing up.

Annual Walk for Recovery

Each September, during Recovery Month, we host the Walk for Recovery. It celebrates recovery, reduces stigma, and raises awareness. Volunteers help with:

Event Setup

Logistics & Planning

Registration

Check-in Support

Promotion

Community Outreach

Sharing Hope

Recovery Stories

Ongoing Roles

Volunteers also help with:

Narcan distribution support.

Administrative tasks like outreach and data entry.

Community outreach at events.

Peer mentorship for those in recovery.

Why Volunteer?

When you volunteer, you save lives, restore hope, and build community. You’ll gain experience, earn service hours, and know your work matters.

Save Lives

Through Narcan distribution and harm reduction.

Restore Hope

Show others that recovery is possible.

Build Community

Create a network of support and strength.
